Privacy Policy

Who we are

Gridiron Day (gridiron.day) is a free daily football draft game. This policy explains what information the site uses and how advertising on the site works.

No accounts, no personal info

You never sign up or enter personal details. Your game progress, results and sound settings are saved only in your own browser (local storage) so you can come back to today's board and keep your record. That information stays on your device; we don't receive it. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases it.

Advertising

Gridiron Day shows ads through Google AdSense to keep the game free.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
• Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
• Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and can change that choice at any time.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If we look at traffic numbers, we use Cloudflare's cookieless analytics, which does not track you across sites.

Children

Gridiron Day is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Data and affiliation

Player and team statistics come from nflverse (CC BY 4.0) and Pro Football Reference, used with permission. Gridiron Day is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL, the NFLPA or any team.

Changes and questions

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Questions can be sent through the project's GitHub page.
